Teleport services on Telstar T11N

Castor has allocated an antenna in its Burum Teleport in The Netherlands to the newly launched Telstar 11N satellite which brings new Ku-Band capacity into European and African markets. Castor also offers uplink services on the Atlantic beam via its partner Teleport in Holmdel which is connected via dedicated fiber to the Burum Teleport.

The Telstar 11N satellite provides state-of-the-art satellite capacity for a broad range of video and data applications that connect the continents of North America, Europe and Africa. The spacecraft has 39 high-power Ku-band transponders as well as a unique Atlantic Ocean beam, which will support growing demand for mobile broadband from maritime and aeronautical markets. It has a 15-year design life.
