Using only the best encoders available on the market, Castor is able to provide Live and VoD encoding services to any video or audio format in use.

Transcoding

Using a state-of-the-art transcoding platform, Castor is able to transcode a single audio or video feed so that it can be viewed on a set-top box, mobile phone or PC.

Standards conversion

Castor is able to offer its customers with a solution for the conversion from PAL/625 to NTSC/525 formats and vice versa.

Advertising Blackout and Insertion

Mindful of the legal constraints in rebroadcasting live video and audio feeds over the Internet, Castor can provide blackout (e.g. removal or advertising or programs) and insertion (insertion of new advertising or programs) services.

24x7 Monitoring, Control and Support

Castor provides 24x7 support for all its services and monitors all hardware elements, the satellite carrier as well as any software based elements within the end-to-end solution being offered to the customer.
