As of February 1, 2011 the total available capacity for Occasional Use has increased to 54 MHz to facilitate the growing demand from Occasional Use customers on Express-AM44 @ 11° West. This makes the AM44 even more attractive offering very competitive rates with good availability even at peak times.

Castor also added new slot types dedicated to facilitate DVB-S2 transmissions in a cost effective way. Customers now have a wide range of slots to choose their optimal quality/cost transmission. We now offer 2.25, 3, 4.5 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 27 and 36MHz slots.

The Express-AM44 is becoming one of the premier satellites for powerful Ku-band connectivity within Europe for Occasional Use/ SNG and Special Events. Our B7 transponder has an uplink frequency 14468.750 MHz and downlink frequency of 11168.750 MHz.

Occasional Use customers can reserve capacity and manage their bookings 24/7 via our very user friendly online booking system. You can even extend your booking online. Should you have a special project for a week or longer we can supply you permanent capacity. Of course we also offer very attractive priced permanent services on Express-AM44.
